Tomorrow we should hit Hot Springs, NC. The kids are very excited to get to a town. We've met a lot of nice people and seen a few hikers with dogs. Today was flatter than the other days so we made good time. The picture is of our camp with dinner (Annie's Noodles) cooking in the pot.
Last night Harvey said "Hey Guys, who wants to play pass with my pants!"
Mark and Kids - I am so glad you are having a great time. What a beautiful camping spot. And, of course, I am so curious about the folks traveling with dogs - who carries the dog food??? I am sure everyone is glad to get to town. Stocking up on new supplies and getting laundry done for clean clothes. Also, I am guessing there are places for hot showers. I remember when Isabel came back from Costa Rica after living with a local family, I asked her what she wanted first thing after getting home. I assumed a steak or hamburger. Nope - she wanted a hot shower and to have clean feet. Keep up the great blog. Love to see what you all are doing.
