The trail today was sunny, hot, hilly and buggy. We actually had our first ticks with Pete and Mark both getting 2! The views were really great and during the morning we crossed a few private farms. No cows, but plenty of cow patties.
I guess with the sun finally out, the bugs decided to come out too. Even the kids complained about the bugs buzzing them and even I started to get annoyed.
Two of the pictures are from Chestnut Knob shelter. We had great views of the sun behind the clouds, it was just bursting out from behind them.
