I signed up for Get Ready to Rock, a 20 mile race in White Bear Township, MN. This will be my longest race ever! This is another race with pacers, which I will take advantage of. It is also a small race, with about 500 expected.
Was this race formerly called the "Bear Water Run"? I did a 20 mile race around white bear lake this exact weekend as a training run for the TCM in 2008. You will be shocked at the caliber of athlete that turns out for this race. Serious runners who want a challenging 20 miler before the marathon will show up. It makes for great people watching. Good luck- you will do great!
